Chaos in UBA as customer break silence over bank charge

It was all drama on Tuesday morning 14th of January 2020 at the United Bank of Africa in the popularly known Oja Oba Central Market Akure , Ondo State , Nigeria.

At around 10am in the morning, a man known as Ajayi Tolulope putting on a multi coloured jean shirts on an ashed jeans trouser enters into the bank to complain on why the bank has been deducting or charging him 65naira in his account on every transfer made as from the 1st of January till date .

And he added that "The federal government has instructed through the Central bank of Nigeria that 10 naira  should be charged for every transfer made to other bank account by the bank and no longer the popular charge of 65naira they do normally charge "

One of the staff in the bank pleaded with him in an impolite manner which triggers the anger in him.

And he replied that "can you imagine this one ? It's not your fault but the fact that I'm here banking my money with you guys."

" If you needed to make money ,is it my money you supposed to use that knife to cut it out?"

"How can a bank like UBA imagine , in a competitive platform like Nigeria sign ordinary  wizkid with 1billion naira?"

"Is it wizkid that will draw you customers? How many customers have you now added since endorsing him now? "

"You must pay my money or else gbudu gbudu a gbawo agbado lowo ye" he stated in the popular Yoruba language .

The bank manager and some other security later showed up to employ  him to reduce his anger and that his issues will be worked on to see where this mistakes comes from so as to rectify it.
