Fully Vaccinated Football Star ,Alphonso Davies, Develops Myocarditis. Possible End of Career
Alphonso Davies, a Bayern Munich footballer, has been sidelined after being diagnosed with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle). Davies, who is considered one of the best full-backs in the world, will be out of action for at least “the coming weeks” after the heart diagnosis. All Bayern Munich players and staff members had received their COVID booster shot during the winter break, according to German news outlet Sport1.

Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann said during a pre-match press conference on Friday that the cardiac problem was discovered during the follow-up examination conducted to all players who had caught COVID.
“He’ll sit out training until further notice. He won’t be available, also in the coming weeks.
The ultrasound shows this myocarditis isn’t so dramatic but it’s a sign of myocarditis. Still, it has to heal and that will definitely take some time.”

Alphonso Davies will miss Canada's next three World Cup qualifying matches, with his Bundesliga team saying the soccer star shows signs of inflammation of the heart muscle following a bout of COVID-19.
It is unknown when Davies will be able to return to the field. In November last year, Bayern had implemented one of the strictest rules of any European club after they announced that players who were not vaccinated against COVID-19 were to be subjected to pay cuts.
