What are the symptoms to watch out for? Symptoms of COVID-19 include shorthness in breathing or difficulty in breathing, common cold or fever and cough. It may take between two to fourteen days after contracting the disease before it's symptoms would manifest. What do I need to do to be safe from Covid-19? The following precautions can be taken to stay safe from the Coronavirus dieasease (COVID-19) Stay away from a large gathering of people. Ensure not to have close contacts with a sick person or maintain atleast a six feet distance. Do not eat raw or uncooked meat Wash your hand atleast every 20 seconds with soap and water or with an hand sanitizer that contains 60% alcoholic content. If you live in a country where a fresh case has been reported endeavour to mintain distance from others. Avoid physical contacts with animals in areas where fresh cases have been reported. Ensure to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Avoid occasional touching of your nose and mouth especially when your hands are unclean. Maintain proper cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces you can't do without touching on daily basis. Can a Face mask prevent the disease? Face masks have not been confirmed to prevent any form of respiratory disease, hence the use of a face mask should solely be based on the recommendation of your doctor.
