The Lagos dream Episode 3

I know I've been away for weeks now. It's my fault for not keeping you all informed. I apologise guys, December was really tight with work and a lot of crazy things happened to me, you will not believe.

My daily stress used to be the transportation scene shuffling from Egbeda to Surulere each day, do defeat that we rented a guest house closer to work for this Christmas festive season.

Like I mentioned, we sell clothes which makes this our season for sales so it was truly wicked to take ourselves over that long distance home every day.

What has been crazy for me now are the people I encounter as a Cashier. People are different but they behave in the same way, and sometimes with no consideration about how others feel.

Seriously, I learnt firsthand that customer service has to be one of the hardest services out there.

Different customers with their 'wahala', there are the ones that won't check the price tags of their goods until you call the total amount. They are usually nice because they eventually remove some items which are over their budget, like i said they are nice and its because they are aware that they are wasting everyone's time unlike their opposites.

If you inform these ones about the price of an item they will beast on you that they know in a very annoying way like they are not daft they know what they are doing and stuff, lol, people are just the same, tomorrow those who didn't check the price tag of their items and now informed will do the same.

To scratch the surface of this matter, i feel social scientists shouldn't border students with questionnaire's anymore, they should take a job as a cashier or receptionist for 3 days and study people's reactions I think that would help build our collective knowledge and facts for the good of all mankind.
