Why Taliban Terrorist group Pulled out of peace deal with Donald Trump

In what has been described as a major set back in the quest to end war in Afghanistan, the Taliban has resumed attacks.

Recall that few days ago, a deal was brokered between the U.S, Taliban and Afghan government to end the conflict.

Looks like that agreement suffered a major setback after the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, refused to release 5000 Taliban prisoners.

According to details of the peace deal, the Afghan government were expected to release 5000 Taliban fighters while Taliban would exchange it with 1000 Afghan forces held by the Taliban.

After learning that the President refused to release the prisoners, a senior Taliban negotiator, Khairullah Khairkhwah, revealed that they will no longer honor the agreement.

Khairkhwah revealed that citizens who have been enjoying the peace should get ready for attacks that would come at anytime. It did not take long before a bomb blast that killed 3 government forces was reported.

The peace deal also involved the U.S withdrawing their troops from the country that has been at war with the Taliban for the past 2 decades.
