The Queen is dead, but her Colonial Past is trending on Twitter. 

Just as Buckingham palace announced the death of the Queen, academics and commentators resorted to Twitter to express their anger at the role the Queen played in colonialism. Uju Anya, a Professor of applied linguistics,antiracist and a feminist is trending on Twitter,

perhaps for the series of tweets in which she openly accused the Queen of supporting genocide that massacred and displaced half of her family.
