Just In: Coronavirus Hits Senegal

The spread of the Coronavirus is fast spreading to Nations and countries. Just earlier on today, Senegal has confirmed her first Coronavirus virus case.

The patient is a French national who arrived in Dakar, the capital, on Feb. 26, Health Minister Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr told reporters.

The man in question who was contained with the virus was reportedly seen seeking for help after noticing the signs and symptoms developing inside him.

As spoken by Sarr, prior to his arrival, the man spent time in Nimes in southern France and at a ski resort in the Alps over a two-week period.

He has been living in Senegal with his wife and two children for more than two years.

“To date, there has been no major concerns about the patient’s condition,” said Sarr.

The deadly disease seems to pose a threat to the safety of the general public even to Nations worldwide. But the UN and health experts has instructed the public to remain calm as the virus will soon be taken care of in no time.
